Salsa

   I have never eaten Mexican food before, but I often hear that Mexican foods r very special and yummy. Today I have an opportunity to touch it.

    This evening, Ethan brought us the Mexican food called Salsa he cooked by himself. It’s a spicy sauce made of tomatoes, onions, and chili peppers, eaten with tortilla chips or other Mexican food. At the same time, he brought several packets of Tortilla corn which I bought from Metro store. Tortilla is a thin disk of unleavened bread made from cornmeal or wheat flour, baked on a hot surface, and usually served topped with or rolled around beans, ground meat, or cheese. I thought the flavor of Salsa is so weird, and so sour. When I asked him what this is made of, he told me he put a lot of Lemon juice in it, no wonder it’s so sour. As for Tortilla, I think it is just so-so. I checked the package, it’s nothing special except that it’s made in USA. When I ate with the salsa, it tasted better.

    It’s cloudy today, it really made person hard to breathe.
   Today I didn’t get up as early as yesterday. There is no body at home except me, so nobody would cook breakfast for me. I woke up at about 10:00 am, and then surfed the internet until over 11:00 am, and then I realized I must prepare the lunch for myself. I had missed the breakfast, so the lunch could be the most important to me. So I was reluctant to go out to buy some meat and vegetables for cooking.
   I hadn’t cooked by myself for days, since I came to live with my parents, my mother always cooked for me. So when the meal was prepared, I always sat by the dinning table first, and waited for all of the foods served. Actually, I cooked for my family once in a while In my teens. Nobody ever taught me cooking, when my mother was cooking, I was always alongside of her, and helping her if she wanted, I was able to cook little by little. As for flavor, I couldn’t assure everybody that it tasted good. Anyway, when I cooked, I always ate less, maybe it’s because I was always stuffed when I was cooking. Today, I cooked three dishes in all: bouilli, eggplants cutlet, and fried cabbage. Bouilli is my favorite, so I bought a lot of pork designedly. Cabbage and eggplant contain many vitamins, they are absolutely green food.

   Anyway, let’s take a look at my dishes. the digital camera has been taken by my dad, so I have to use my pc camera instead, the images efficiency is so bad, but fortunately we can see the figures.

   There is one thing in my mind which I often think of. I always feel a little uncomfortable when it appears in my brain.
   Actually, it happened long time ago, and I believe most of ppl should have the same experience. Before that happened, I just heard of it. At that day, I hurried to Hefei from Zhengzhou at night by train in order to participate in my friend’s wedding which would be held in there. That thing happened on that train unluckily. I had heard that kind of train is usually very complex, there r always thieves appearing on that train. I had taken it for many times, but I hadn’t seen it with my own eye.  “Fortunately”, those thieves “satisfied” me at that time, a wonderful live stealing show performed at front of my face. Generally speaking, the thief would take actions before the next station is coming late in the night, so even though the passenger finds his property missing at last, it must be very late. At that night, it’s very late, about 5 am in the morning, most passengers were very tired, some of them were recumbent, and some of them were bending against the tables. Suddenly, there were 3 ppl walked along the walkway back and forth and at the same time, they glanced the passengers and luggage on the both sides ever and again. It was about 15 minutes to the next station, they began to take the bags from the rack and open them to try to find some money, they found about several hundred RMB at last, but it seemed that they weren’t satisfied with it. So they try to seek money from the sleeping passengers’ pockets, what a pickpocket! All of those just happened about 10 meters far away from me, I should stand out, when I saw the sober witnesses who were just standing beside the pickpockets numbly, I gave up that impulsion at last . If I took a video recorder with me, I must have recorded the whole process for the sake of punishing the criminals and improving the ppl’s security consciousness.
   7 days later, I spent much more money to took the other train back to Zhengzhou, that kind of train was much more expensive, so I didn’t come across the thief again.
   I can’t help to think of one movie called “A world without thieves”, do u think that kind of day will come?

I attended an English salon held in a café bar. When I talked about the NBA games, I found I didn’t know the accurate English names of most teams, it’s so shameful. So now I want to remember all of them.

   I tried a new way to learn English yesterday. I wrote a email to a person who is from the US. As a result, I heard from him today. I write to him in English and he write to me in Chinese. He helped me to correct the mistakes in my email, and I helped him to correct the mistakes in his written Chinese. See, I can learn standard American English from him, and he can learn standard Chinese from me. Well, that sounds great, doesn’t it? It’s good for both sides.

    Actually, I am always very lazy. I don’t like writing the email although I have many email accounts. I often use QQ, MSN massager. That looks much prompter as if we were talking with each other face to face. But writing is different. we always have enough time to think before we begin to write. So most of our writings r much more significant.

    It becomes more and more cold nowadays in this city, the winter is coming. It’s rainy today, and the temperature is very low. Although I just stay at home all day, I must wear the thick clothes against the coldness. December is on the way, I will probably go to Beijing for work at that time, it would be much colder out there. I wish I could be better.

   Time goes by so fast,I can feel it passes by ,but I can’t hold it.

   I always feel I am getting older and older,and although I am only 23 years old now, my heart is always older than my age.I like attempting different kinds of things, once I  archieve it, I would get sick of it.

   I don’t believe the constellation ,but I find my character accords with the character of my constellation, so it is so weird,I always think this is a superstition.

    I watched the live broadcast NBA match between Houston Rockets and Miami Heats, these two teams both own several famous players, in Houston rockets, Yao Ming & Mc Grady lead the team, in Miami Heats, Shaquille O’Neal & Dwyane Wade are the most famous players in the league. The focus of this match is the competition of the first position of Centre forward in NBA. Eventually,Yao Ming won the matchup with O’Neal.
    The game was pretty wonderful, Yao Ming continued his good state of last match, he scored 34 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Houston Rockets to their fourth straight victory. And the protagonist of the focus O’Neal was dominated and just scored 15 points and 10 rebounds. He just was in the ascendant in the first quarter, but in the last three quarter, he was totally dominated, he didn’t have any vigor at all, and this shows the first place of center forward  has been replaced by Yao Ming officially. “shaq” time has passed, Yao Ming ,who has black hair and yellow skin, must be the most proper candidate of ruling the basketball.
     Yao Ming has scored 27.3 points per game up to now, has become the ninth scoring leader, at the same time, the team has risen up to the fourth place of the western conference. The day after tomorrow, they will challenge San Antonio spurs, that match is significant ,the result will be concerned with the overlord of the southwest division. No matter who wins, The winner will take up the first place of southwest division. We look forward to it.

   

   The familiar cellphone ringed, I checked the number, it’s a hangzhou’s number ,which belongs to a corporation that wanted me to work for it. When I answered such phone calls, I felt this year’s gonna end, and I should come out. Since the late of august I’ve never send any resumes, I just want to relax and study something for a while. I have began to receive some companies’ invitation calls, so in my opinion, it conveys there are still many companies who are very interested in my ability and certificate ,although maybe I am not qualified to be a senior talent, I believe I am capable of laboring. On the other hand, it indicates that it’s a proper season for seeking job and changing job.
    Maybe some people would be curious to know how I handled these phone calls. To be honest, that depends, generally speaking ,I would refer to the development size of the company, if it’s a famous or large company, usually, I would give me an opportunity, if it’s a small company without any potential, I would refuse it politely. I admit I am a little picky, but it’s my freedom, I have the right to choose the company I work for.
    My English course hasn’t ended until in the middle of December. Looking back the passed two month school life, I’ve made a large progress, and now I can chat with my foreign friends much more freely and the pronunciation is more and more standard. I used to complain about my English pronunciation, maybe it’s because I was always so strict with myself. Strangely, when I attend the English corner and salon, I was always be popular with other people, I could always gain a lot of recognitions for my pronunciation, they were always flattering me, so at that time, I was often desired to sign “signatures” and leave my telephone.  The English school , which I study at, organize the English corner before class, actually the participators are all from my class. If there are only my American English teacher and me out there, our talks often cover many subjects, we all have very good talks. If there are other students joining us, I always figure as a translator, the teacher always wants me to translate the English words which the other students can’t understand to Chinese. As for this, I bethink of  what happened yesterday evening. In the yesterday English corner before class, there was a new student ,I played the role of “translator” customarily , as the result , she actually asked me if I was the assistant, when I told her I was a student too, she was looking at me amazedly, eventually , when the English corner ended, she was too impartient to wait to asked me many questions, such as are u majoring in English, where are u from etc. when I told her my former major in university was not English, she eyeballed me with amazement again.

The blogs with the domain names of blogspot.com have been blocked in China, a lot of friends’ blogs are served by it. So I’ve got to visit those blogs by proxy every time, it’s really annoying and troublesome, how can I handle it? So I tried to seek some methods on the internet. Luckily, I found one review about this ,it says we can log on such blogs in two ways, one way is to use proxy as I did before, the other way is to use other domain names to redirect to the blogspot blogs, in other words, we can’t use http://xxx.blogspot.com to visit , but we can use http://www.pkblogs.com/xxx instead, and can visit it successfully without proxy in china, xxx represents the registered username, for example, if the blog original address is http: //snowgarden.blogspot.com ,you must use the http://www.pkblogs.com/snowgarden instead.
